PURPOSE: A method for maintaining status information conformity in 10 Gbps SDH(Synchronous Digital Hierarchy) MIB(Management Information Base) is provided to maintain status conformity by using object container-contents without making an independent telecommunication every object instance. CONSTITUTION: The initialization of management object is made(S1). In case that M-SET service is request for management status attribute(S2), the associated object is accessed(S3). The attribute of management status is updated(S4), and it is confirmed whether a sub object for cascading update exists(S5). It is confirmed whether the status attribute associated with the sub object exists(S6). After the status attribute is updated into an identical status attribute value(S7) and it is confirmed whether a higher level object exists(S8), access is made to the higher level object(S9). After confirmed whether the status attribute in the higher level object exists(S10), access to all sub object attributes is made(S11). AND or OR combination is proceeded for the status attribute of sub objects(S12). The status attribute value is updated(S13). In case that the higher level object does'n't exist, it is confirmed whether relative attribute exists(S14) and access is made to the associated object(S15). It is confirmed whether the related object has a status attribute(S16), it is update if there is the status attribute(S17). In case that the update report of an apparatus received(S18), it is reviewed whether the update of the status attribute is necessary(S19). If the configuration management object receives the final signal from the operation system, the procedure is completed(S20). |
