PURPOSE: A device for adjusting volume of a car audio cassette is provided to easily adjust volume by rotation of a volume knob, by installing a reflecting unit having reflecting plates of a predetermined pattern at a lower surface of the volume knob protruded to the front of a front panel of the car audio cassette, and by fixing an optical sensor to one-side upper surface of a front substrate. CONSTITUTION: In a device for adjusting volume of a car audio cassette, a knob insertion groove(2) is formed at one side of a front panel(1) in a single body, and a volume knob(4) is inserted therein. A reflecting unit(11) having a plurality of reflecting plates(10) is formed, an absorption plate being positioned at a lower surface of the volume knob(4). An optical sensor(9) is disposed at the upper side of the front substrate(5) to face the reflecting unit(11). By sensing the reflecting plate(10) having a predetermined pattern during the rotation of the volume knob(4), the optical sensor(9) turn up/down the volume.
