The arrangement has two sliding strips (18) that can be brought into contact with the power cable and at a distance apart in the direction of travel and a carrier connecting them to the vehicle. The sliding strips are spring mounted on the carrier. The carrier has a shoulder piece (22) between the sliding strips, which are linked to it via at least one spring arm. An envelope curve (32) with a conical section coincides to at least 50 per cent with the contour sections of the sliding strips and shoulder part.
