PURPOSE: An apparatus for phase-varying linear synchronizing pulse is to digitalize a function of devices which are very sensitive to temperature variance to prevent phase change due to temperature of various line lock pulse. CONSTITUTION: A reset pulse generating portion(20) generates a previous reset pulse and a latter reset pulse corresponding to one period of a clock pulse to delay a phase of a synchronizing pulse for a time multiplying a phase controlling value and one period of the clock pulse. The first variable module loss counter(30) outputs a pulse which is in a high state for the time multiplying a phase controlling value and one period of the clock pulse from a time point of inputting the previous reset pulse. The second variable module loss counter(40) outputs a pulse which is in a high state for the time multiplying a phase controlling value and one period of the clock pulse from a time point of inputting the latter reset pulse. And a pulse outputting portion processes an output of the first and second variable module loss counter to output the synchronizing pulse of which the phase is delayed.
