The fitting consists of a tension rod on one furniture wall, and a tensioning part (1). The part is held in an esp. cylindrical sack-like aperture (4) in a second furniture wall (3). The base (5) of the aperture has a smaller opening (6), which completely passes through the furniture wall. The tensioning part has a passage (8) aligned with the opening. Two parallel neighboring walls (3,a) are positioned with aligned opening and passage, so that a tension screw (9,a) can be fitted through them. The tensioning part is insert deeply, defining a chamber (20) with an opening (7) in the aperture edge, so that the screw heads (11,a) are inset.
