<p>PURPOSE: A method for degrading organic matters using aerobic digestion is provided, which is characterized in that a specific microorganism group which inhabits at high temperature is used in the aerobic digester. CONSTITUTION: Autothermal thermophilic aerobic digestion (ATAD) uses a principle of composing. A degrading velocity of microorganism is increased 3-5 % times of the normal temperature at high temperature, and the amount of sludge is reduced. An oxygen uptake rate is very high, but an excess of oxygen causes a loss of heat for oxidation. So, appropriate amount of air or oxygen is necessary. Sludge flows into a digester (100) through a valve (160), and the inside of the digester is divided by partition wall (100). A device for removing bubbles (120) which is operated by a motor (121) is installed in the digester, and a tube (180) for circulating sludge, a pump (170), and a valve for controlling sludge (181) is installed. A device (200) for supplying air into the circulating tube (180), like ejector (21) or air blower & compressor (230), is installed.</p> |
