PURPOSE: A heat insulating finishing material and a producing method thereof are provided to make compact the structure, to reduce producing cost, simplifying producing process, to improve the quality of a product by preventing covering phenomenon by improving mechanical property and to improve heat insulating effect. CONSTITUTION: A heat insulating finishing material is formed by bonding a thermoplastic resin film(1) to a glass wool paper(2). The thermoplastic resin film is preferably formed of polyethylene resin. The thermoplastic resin film and the glass wool paper are bonded by thermal bonding or by using an adhesive agent. A useful adhesive agent is preferably used as an adhesive agent. The thermoplastic resin film is heated by a thermal bonding apparatus and bonded on the glass wool paper. When bonding using the useful adhesive agent, the adhesive agent is coated on one face of the thermoplastic resin film or the glass wool paper and hardened after adhering the thermoplastic resin film to the glass wool paper. Thereby the thermo-plastic resin film is bonded to the glass wool paper.
