The device measures transmission or attenuated total reflection. It contains a light source, pressure tight cover, input coupling unit, measurement head, output coupling unit, detector and light transfer paths (9,10) for connecting the light source to the input coupling unit and the output coupling unit to the detector.The input and output coupling units form a pressure tight barrier between the measurement head (3) and the transfer paths (9,10), which are optical waveguides. The coupling units can be windows with pressure tight connection of their edges to the cover. |
