PURPOSE: A hot-rolling method of a very little carbon slab is provided to prevent a defect from generating at both edges of a very little carbon slab material by hot-clogging after setting up a temperature range in which the deformation of ferrite does not occur. CONSTITUTION: Before clogging the very little carbon slab inlet in a furnace, the deflection between the central temperature and edge of the slab is obtained. Then, the drop amount of the central temperature of the slab is calculated based on the setting time of spraying high pressure water of a descaler and the specific heat, density, thickness and average heat flow speed data of the slab. After an oxide film of the slab is removed through the obtained temperature drop amount, the central temperature of the reheated slab is assumed. Further, the edge temperature of the slab reheated at a T point is assumed by compensating the deflection, and the time when the assumed temperature of the slab is equal to the Ar3 deformation point of the very little carbon slab is obtained. Lastly, the slab is cogged.
