PURPOSE: An apparatus for synthesizing short message voices of a hands free kit is provided to output a received short message as a voice, so that a driver can not have to directly confirm the short message by picking up a handset. CONSTITUTION: A handset transmits an alarm signal to a hands free kit(200) when a short message is received, and transmits the short message to the hands free kit(200). A phoneme code storage(164) stores phoneme codes relating to each phoneme of Korean character. A Korean character dictionary storage(114) stores a Korean character dictionary. A sentence analyzer(112) inputs the short message to analyze a sentence of the short message into phonetic symbols and phonemes, then outputs phoneme information data relating to grammar information data and the phonemes. A control information generator(152) inputs the grammar information data to output generated control information. A voice synthesizer(154) inputs phoneme information data to read corresponding phoneme data, and synthesizes the data into voice data, then converts the voice data into audio signals to output the audio signals. A full-duplex duplexer module(120) inputs the audio signals to output the signals as voices. The second controller(110) receives an inputted voice synthesis command from an exterior when the alarm signal is inputted, and applies a short message inputting request signal to the handset. |
