The present invention relates to a spring device, preferably adapted to be used as an accessory to a child's bed, said device comprising a compression spring means (11) and a fastening means (12), by which the compression spring means (11) is adapted to be attached to an element, preferably a leg (13) of a child's bed, said fastening means (12) being provided in the area of one end of the compression spring means (11). Significant for the device according to the invention is that it comprises a casing (1; 1'; 1") of flexible material, said casing (1; 1'; 1") surrounding the compression spring means (11) in such a way that it extends in the axial direction of the compression spring means (11), from the end of the compression spring means (11) where the fastening means (12) is provided to the area of the opposite end of the spring compression means (11).
