METHOD FOR REALIZING INPUT/OUTPUT SERVER OF DEFECT ENDURANCE TYPE

PURPOSE: A method for realizing an input/output server of defect endurance type is provided for the input/output server of a standby system to synchronize with the input/output server of an active system while operating independently. CONSTITUTION: An input/output server defines material structures used in a memory for an active system and a standby system. Then, an active memory and a standby memory of the input/output server are initialized in the active system, and the active memory and the standby memory of the input/output server are initialized in the standby system while starting the system. Also, the systems are synchronized while being operated separately by using the material structures in the memory. Therefore, the active system and the standby system are converted to the standby system and to the active system in case of cut caused by defect in the system.
