5-Alkyl-2-arylaminophenylacetic acid derivatives (I) are new. - 5-Alkyl-2-arylaminophenylacetic acid derivatives of formula (I) and their salts and prodrug esters are new. R1 = Cl or F; R2 = H or F; R3 = H, F, Cl, methyl, ethyl, methoxy, ethoxy or OH; R4 = H or F and R5 = Cl, F, trifluoromethyl or methyl. An independent claim is also included for compounds of formula (Ia) and their salts.
