PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of smoothly folding and storing a folding type opening/closing body by means of one case body connected to one end of a main hanger rail. SOLUTION: The inner surfaces of both side walls 12A, 12B of one case body 10 of this folding storage device are provided with hanger rails 17A, 17B for alternately and rollably fitting an upper sash roller 16 fitted to each shaft rod 9 standing upright from one end side of the upper side of each foldably- connected opening/closing member. The lower parts of both side walls 12A, 12B are provided with guide rails 14 for rollably fitting horizontal rollers fitted to alternate shaft rods 9 out of the respective shaft rods 9. An intermediate part of either one of both side walls 12A, 12B is provided with a cutout opening 18. The base end of an automatic switching lever body 20 inclined to allow each horizontal roller to roll out of the cutout opening 18 and provided with a spring suspended is pivotally fixed to the cutout opening 18, and the tip of the automatic switching lever body 20 is provided with an automatic switching lever piece 30 inclined to block the passage of each shaft rod not fitted with the horizontal roller.
