PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure that the unnecessary supply of ink is prevented from being made and the smooth rolling action of balls for writing takes place by bringing the ball for writing into contact with an object intended for writing and thereby pushing the ball in the rear end direction resisting the spring force of a spring member, when the ball-point pen is used. SOLUTION: When a writer writes on a writing paper, a ball 13 for writing slides into contact with the surface of a spring member 17 of a synthetic resin material. Thus the ball 13 for writing is rotated smoothly, so that the writing operation is performed easily. In addition, when the ball-point pen leaves the writing paper, the ball 13 closes an ink flow path by the spring force of the spring member 17, so that the possibilities of unnecessary causing ink to flow to the outside are eliminated effectively. Consequently it is possible to realize the so-called capless ball-point pen which need not be capped at the tip of the ball-point pen. |
