PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To place a cart on a cart stand by oneself by providing a second receiving base positionally changeable to a second state situated in a position adjacent to a first receiving base under the first receiving base positioned to a first state. SOLUTION: Since a second receiving base 2 is situated in a low position in a second state, only the front of a cart is lifted up as the rear thereof is grounded, whereby the position relatively close to the center of gravity of the cart can be put on the second receiving base 2. In this state, the rear of the cart can be easily lifted up with the second receiving base 2 as the fulcrum. When the rear of the car is lifted up, a part of the cart can be put on a first receiving base 1. When the rear of the cart is further lifted up, the cart can be separated from the second receiving base 2. In this state, the second receiving base 2 is changed to a first state, and the cart is placed again on the second receiving part, whereby the cart is placed in the state laid over the first receiving base 1 and the second receiving base 2.
