PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably provide radiation images suitable for a diagnosis or the like regardless of the ratio of a high density area and a low density area. SOLUTION: Image data DT are generated in a radiation image reader 40 based on radiation transmitted through an object 5. In an image processing part 26, from the image data DT, the desired area of the object 5 is detected and an interested area is set. The inside of the interested area is divided into a high signal value area and a low signal value area and the processing condition of the image data is decided based on the distribution state of the high signal value area and the low signal value area inside the interested area. The image data DT are processed by the decided processing condition and the radiation images are displayed at an image display device 22 by using the processed image data or the processed image data are outputted to external equipment. |
