PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suitably carry out packing of a material to be sealed into bags formed continuously in a belt-like state, and easily perform the adjustment of a packing quantity, etc. SOLUTION: This packing apparatus has a charging hopper 2 for a material M to be sealed in a bag, a nozzle part 1 having an insertion portion to be inserted into the inside of an elongated film F which is fed, a suction and feed-under-pressure part for the material M, which has a cylinder and a piston 42, and a rotor body 5 having a recess 50 for receiving the material M, which rotates forwardly and reversely in a valve chest 3. The receiving recess 50 of the rotor body 5 is provided in such a size that, at a rotational position of the rotor body 5 where a communicating opening 31 between the side of the nozzle part 1 and the valve chest 3 is closed, the recess 50 is allowed to communicate with communicating openings 30, 32 between the cylinder and the side of the hopper 2, and that, at a rotational position of the rotor body 5 where the communicating opening 30 between the side of the hopper 2 and the valve chest 3 is closed, the recess 50 is allowed to communicate with the communicating opening 31 between the cylinder and the side of the nozzle part 1. The rotor body 5 and the piston are driven by individual servomotors 7.
