PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce high quality graphite powder in a good productivity. SOLUTION: This graphite-producing system comprises the following equipments: (1) an electric furnace 2 for the graphitization of amorphous carbon powder not having a definite crystal structure in an inert gas atmosphere by energizing to heat the carbon powder; (2) a carbon powder-feeding equipment 1 for feeding carbon powder as a raw material to the furnace 2; (3) a graphite powder-recovery equipment 3 for recovering graphite powder as a product from the furnace 2; (4) a cooling equipment 5 for cooling graphite powder recovered from the equipment 3; (5) a product inspection controller 10 for measuring the graphitized degree of the cooled graphite powder and for controlling the carbon powder-feeding speed in the equipment 1 and the graphite powder- recovering speed in the equipment 3 both based on measured results.
