<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a photopolymerization initiator which is highly sensitive, low in cost, and free of the precipitation of crystals when diluted and dissolved in an organic solvent and stored in cold by using a tetracarboxylic acid compound having a benzophenone structure. SOLUTION: A compound of formula I or II is used. In the formulas, R1, R2, R5, and R7 to R11 are each 4-15C tert-alkyl or 9-15C tert-aralkyl; X1, X2, and X3 are each O or NH; R3 is a 1-30C organic group of which the atom bonded to X1 is not oxygen; R4 is 4-15C tert-alkoxy, 9-15C tert-aralkyloxy, or a 1-30C organic group of which the atom bonded to X2 is not oxygen; R6 and R12 are each 4-15C tert-alkyl, 9-15C tert-aralkyl, or a 1-30C organic group of which the atom bonded to X3 is not oxygen; R13 is 2-8C alkylene; m is 1-30; and n is 0-30.</p> |
