PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good sealing effects even without adding a large-scaled apparatus. SOLUTION: A thermally molten brazing filler material 5 is released toward a space V between the edge outer peripheral parts of a pair of flat glasses 1, thereby making the brazing filler material 5 collide with the edge parts of the flat glasses 1, breaking an oxide film 5a formed on the surface of the brazing filler material 5, keeping the contents of the brazing filler material 5 in a state being in direct contact with the pair of flat glasses 1, cooling and solidifying the brazing filler material 5 and hermetically sealing the space V in a method for sealing a glass panel comprising arranging the pair of flat glasses 1 in a state thereof forming the space V between opposite surfaces, interposing the brazing filler material 5 for hermetic sealing between the outer peripheral parts of the pair of flat glasses 1 and hermetically sealing the space V. |
