PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily cope with the uneven state of the top face part of an entrance rail to be repaired and prevent creak by providing a sound prevention mechanism of the creak prevention of a connection part between the top face part and an entrance rail body on the rear face of the top face part of the decorative material for the entrance rail. SOLUTION: A decorative material 1 for an entrance rail is made a cross section L-shape comprising a face part 2 and a top face part 3, the plate thickness of a square material used for the top face part 3 is substantially the same as the plate thickness of a repairing overlapping sticking floor member, and a plurality of angular slits 32 are formed in a prescribed length in a short hand direction from the other end which is the creak prevention mechanism for a connection part between the top face part 3 and the entrance rail body on the rear face part. The top face part 3 is continuously provided on the end of the repairing overlapping sticking floor member to be stuck on the upper face of an existing floor material, and the rear face of the face part 2 and the top face part 3 are abutted on the existing entrance rail body to be stuck and fixed. As the result, even when the upper face of the entrance rail body is uneven and a gap with the top face 3 occurs, the rigidity of the top face part 3 is lowered by the slit 32, and the creak prevention of the connection part between the top face part 3 and the rail body can be performed at the time when the top face part 3 is trod.
