PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ceiling joint cover device capable of keeping very small a level difference between a joint cover and right and left ceiling members, being easy to install, and capable of absorbing the longitudinal and horizontal shaking of the right and left buildings without damage in an earthquake, etc. SOLUTION: The right and left ceiling members 4 of right and left buildings 3 constructed via a joint part 2 comprise a plurality of supporting bars 6 bridged at predetermined intervals between right and left ceiling member metal fixtures 5 on the joint part 2 fixed to the skeletons of the right and left buildings 3, and a joint cover 11 covering at least the portion of the joint part 2 of each of the right and left ceiling members 4 except one end, the right and left ceiling members 4 being fixed by screws in place at the bottom surface of a groove 9 formed at almost the centers of the plurality of supporting bars 6. This device comprises an end joint cover 12 outwardly slidably attached to at least one end of the joint cover 11 and an energization mechanism for constantly energizing the joint end cover 12 outwards.
