ADHESIVE EXCESS/SHORT SUPPLY SIGNAL GENERATING DEVICE FOR BOX BLANK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an adhesive excess/short supply signal generating device for box blanks which is capable of certainly eliminating rejects due to the excess/short supply of an adhesive without the manning of a dedicated operator. SOLUTION: The excess/short supply of an adhesive applied to the overlap width 18 of a corrugated fiberboard sheet 1 by the glue gun 19 of a folder gluer 3, is detected using a detector 10 and at the same time, the number of the corrugated fiberboard sheets 1 to be put through for processing is stored by a controller 9. Further, an alarm lamp 12 is actuated to warn the generation of the rejects due to the excess/short supply of the adhesive applied to the box blanks 2, when the number of the box blanks 2 to put through for processing at a stacking device 7 shows a higher value than the stored number of the corrugated fiberboard sheets 1 after the calculation of the operating frequency of a pusher 25 which corresponds to the number of stacks 6 of the box blanks 2 delivered from the stacking device 7. For this reason, the unfailing elimination of the box blank rejects is realized without the presence of an attending operator.
