PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent soot from attaching to right and left sides of a cooking space or from leaking outside thereof when cooking stuffs such as fish are roasted on a grill and the soot changing to fluid soot is dropped down to a bottom surface of the cooking space or leaked out therefrom. SOLUTION: An electric roaster comprises a cooking space 1, a receiving tray 6 drawably contained within the cooking space 1, a grill 7 mounted on the receiving tray 6 and upper and lower heater 3, 4 for roasting a cooking stuff 10 on the grill 7. Prevention plates 11 for preventing dirt of inner walls are detachably assembled to sides and rear inner walls of the cooking space 1 by magnets 13, and oil reserving section 12 having a general recess shape directing inward to the cooking space 1 is provided at a lower section of each prevention plate 11 for preventing dirt. Since oil dropped from right and left sides of the cooking space 1 is received at the oil reserving section 12 having the general recess shape, the oil does not leak out of the cooking space 1 and the cooking space 1 can be easily cleaned.
