The invention concerns a mechanism for controlling the jaws fixing (7, 8) a lid (4) integral with the motor driving (5) the rotary tool (2) of a food processor on a working vessel (1) wherein the jaws (7, 8) are designed to be urged in engagement with matching elements (1b) of the working vessel (1) and are capable of moving radially between two positions. Each of the jaws (7, 8) is engaged with an actuating member (15, 16) associated with elastic means (19, 20) tending to maintain said jaw (7, 8) in engaged position, and capable of taking up two positions, for respectively releasing and engaging said jaw (7, 8), corresponding to positions respectively activating and deactivating the elastic means (19, 20). A locking member (26, 27) serves to maintain each jaw in disengaged position countering the elastic means (19, 20). |
