PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a heat-sensitive recording material of superior photoprinting adaptability on which the wear of a thermal head is scarcely generated by photoprinting. SOLUTION: A heat-sensitive recording material is provided on a heat- sensitive recording layer and a protective layer formed successively in the above order on a support substrate, and the dynamic hardness value of the protective layer is 40 or more at 120 deg.C. The protective layer contains inorganic fine particles and a binder, and the ratio of the inorganic fine particles to the binder is desirably at least 100 pts.wt. of inorganic fine particles to the 100 pts.wt. of binder, and a lubricant layer formed of a lubricant and the binder as main components can be formed on the protective layer, and the inorganic fine particles are desirably silica. |
