PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a wire cut accident from occurring, and enable wire to be efficiently used and decrease the number of parts to lower the incidence of trouble by structuring an accumulator which temporarily stores a reciprocating wire so that tension is hardly generated in the accumulator and at the same time, simplifying the structure. SOLUTION: Accumulators 3, 5 are arranged on the stages forward/backward of a cutting part 2 for cutting an object with a reciprocating wire W tightly stretched between mutigroove rollers 22(22a-22c) and temporarily store the reciprocating wire W. In addition to these accumulators 3, 5, a wire supply part 1 for supplying a new wire intermittently to the accumulator 3 on one side and a wire take-up part 4 for taking up the wire to be discarded intermittently from the accumulator 5 on the other side are provided as constituents of a wire saw machine. Further each of the accumulators 3, 5 is constituted of coiling mechanisms 3, 5 which are made to coil the wire W. Thus the wire W is alternately taken up and uncoiled by the coiling mechanisms 3, 5 to that the wire W is temporarily stored. |
