PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject device so designed to prevent a cuttlefish hook point from being often stuck inside a piece of clothing, hand, or other object when a fisherman casts mutually connected several cuttlefish angling hooks undersea successively for the purpose of cuttlefish catching. SOLUTION: This device is obtained by mounting a spring-type wire 2 on a recess fitted with a cuttlefish hook point on a pipe 1 or thick board followed by mounting the resultant assembly on a stay (board or pipe) or the like. Owing to this device, cuttlefish hooks can be cast through running themselves outside off the edge of a ship without contact of a cuttlefish angling hook point with a fisherman, etc.
