PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply crush empty cans such as a beer can, a coffee can, and a beverage can at home by a small force. SOLUTION: In this crusher, an empty can 4 is put on a stand plate 2, and a pressing plate pivotely fixed to the stand plate 2 is pressed down, so as to crush the empty can 4. An empty can center pressing part 15, which crushes the center portion of a cylinder body 16 of the empty can 4 in a manner that a cover member 17 and a bottom member 18 of the empty can 4 are bent inwards, is installed to the pressing plate 3. Also, an empty can pressing part 13 is installed to the pressing plate 3 in a manner that the cover member 17 and the bottom member 18 of the empty can 4, which are bent inwardly, are pressed to the can body 16 part so as to crush the empty can 4 into a thin shape.
