organic synthesis, chemical technology. SUBSTANCE: invention describes method of synthesis of betulinol diacetate by acetylation of betulinol in the presence of catalyst at heating. Acetylation is carried out with mixture of acetic acid and C1-C4-alcohol acetates at simultaneous removal of water from reaction mixture by the known methods.
