A servo system controller comprising a sequence control section (2) and a servo control section (3), and comparing the current position data of a servo motor, other servo control data and the sequencer device data, used as comparison data, to check whether or not the comparison data are within respective detection ranges and output the comparison results, wherein the response time from variation of the comparison data to output of the comparison results is prevented from increasing or fluctuating. A comparison processing table memory (14) is provided at the servo control section (3) and comparison processing is executed in synchronism with the operating period at the servo control section (3) to output a detection signal when the comparison data falls within a detection range. A machining system employing the servo system controller can shorten a tact time without increasing cost significantly. When increase or fluctuation of decision processing time has an effect on the machining precision, the machining precision can be prevented from lowering.
