<p>A radial ventilator comprises a spiral casing (1) with a tongue (2) and an inlet opening and an outlet opening (4). A rotor (5) is mounted in the spiral casing (1). The rotor (5) comprises a shaft (6) and a carrying disk (7). On the peryphery of the lateral surface of the disk (7) are fixed blades (9) forming an intra-rotor cavity. A partition is mounted in a cantilever manner on the spiral casing (1). The free end (14) of the partition is located in the intra-rotor cavity with an offset (α1) in relation to the tongue (2) in the direction opposite to that of rotation of the rotor (5). The gap (δ1) between the tongue (2) and the projecting edge (11) of the closest blade (9) lies within the range of 0.03 to 0.2 of the distance (R1) between the axis (O1-O1) of rotation of the rotor (5) and the projecting edge (11) of the blade (9).</p> |
