<p>A burst wave (91) is applied as an RF magnetic field so as to excite hydrogen nuclei, a gradient magnetic field (95) gradient in the read direction is applied, and thus magnetization in strips is achieved. Thereafter an RF magnetic field pulse (92) for magnetization reversal for selecting a slice is applied, and a signal (97) is measured while applying a read-out gradient magnetic field (96). The timing at which a spin echo is generated is made different from that at which a gradient magnetic field echo is generated so as to the signal reflects the phase rotation due to chemical shift. The MR signal (97) is subjected to two-dimensional Fourier transform, the phase distribution is found from the real and imaginary parts of complex data after the Fourier transform, and the distribution is converted to a temperature change distribution and displayed. The temperature change of the diseased part resultant from IVMR is monitored in real time.</p> |
