The elevator has two drives (1,2), each with a drive pulley (1.1,2.1), and bearer cables passing over the pulleys and working in conjunction with a lift cabin (3) and counterweight (1.3,2.3). A common set of bearer cables (7.1,7.2) used for both drives is passed over both pulleys and both drives. An actuatable cable clamp (8) with open and closed states is mounted on the lift cabin. |
