The lamp has a lamp socket, a transparent bulb and at least one light device enclosed by the bulb. The socket has a metal holder part in which the bulb is fixed, an annular metal carrier sleeve (14b) joined to the holder part and anchored in a plastics base part (15) fitted with the electrical connectors for the lamp. The sleeve has three reference protrusions (14c) to engage a reflector (20) opening. The sleeve also has a radially outwardly acting pressure spring for fixing the lamp in the lamp holder opening of the reflector.
