The sheet (3) printing machine has a boom with circulating grippers (9.1) which draw sheets along a conveyor section forming a sheet deflection area (24). A blown air source forms a blown air curtain crossways to the conveyor section. This curtain activates sheets passing through the deflection area. During activation of the sheets passing through the deflection area the blown air curtain passes through the deflection area in the same direction as the grippers. |
