SEPARATOR FOR FORMWORK

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable easy removal of a lower stage formwork among the formworks installed in two upper and lower stages after hardening of concrete poured in the formworks by permitting to adopt a finish method for giving an irregular pattern to a wall surface by using design panels when finishing a wall surface for a foundation or the like and by permitting the installation of a separator for formworks without interfering with steel bars arranged inside the formworks. SOLUTION: This separator comprises a main body 2 having a length corresponding to the interval of a pair of formworks facing each other, a plate- shaped hook portion 5 having a pair of hook pieces 6 oppositely on both the surfaces in a longitudinal direction of the main body 2 with an interval corresponding to the thickness of the formworks and an insertion hook portion 9 formed to a flat plate shape with a constant width having a wedge driving hole 10 at the end portion formed in one united body at the other end of the main body 2. And a wedge 11 having shape permitting to drive to the wedge driving hole 10, and notched grooves 13 provided respectively at a connecting portion between the main body 2 and the hook portion 5 and at a connecting portion between the main body 2 and the insertion attaching portion 9.
