<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize encoding making image deterioration small in such a case that tandem connection is performed by controlling the coding of an encoding means based on information related to an encoding function. SOLUTION: Relating to an image signal encoding device 122, a separation circuit 106 separates an ID signal representing a picture multiplexed to an analog video signal (output signal (b)), and an encoding circuit 108 encodes the analog video signal through intra-image coding, forward prediction coding and bidirectional prediction coding according to the picture type separated by the circuit 108. That is, the output signal (b) supplied to the device 122 is supplied to the separation circuit 106, it is divided into an analog video signal and an ID signal there, the analog video signal is sent to an A/D converter 107 and the ID signal is sent to an encoding circuit 108. And, the circuit 108 encodes a video signal converted into a digital signal based on a picture type corresponding to the ID signal.</p> |
