PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic composition containing moisturizing plant ingredient(s) with highly sustainable moisturizing effect, effective in preventing, mitigating or improving the drying, roughing, chapping and/or chafing, dandruff, itching and inflammatory diseases for the skin, and drying, loosening, split hair, cut hair and gloss imparting for the hair. SOLUTION: This cosmetic composition in the form of a cosmetic, bath preparation or cleansing agent is obtained by including one or more kinds of plant extracts selected from Epimedium grandiflorum Morr., Alpinia officinarum Hance, Amomum xanthioides Wall., Dendrobium officinale K. Kimura et Migo, and Krameria triandra Ruiz and Pavon.
