PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the maintenance and handling work such as inspection of a rice cooking device or rice washing device by forming the sides of the frame of the rice boiling device in an L-shape and forming a gap exposing almost all the side surfaces of the rice boiling device to prevent steam generated in cooking rice from filling the place around. SOLUTION: This rice washing/cooking device 1 is for washing and cooking rice supplied from a rice stock room 2. A rice cooking device is put on the bottom of a rice cooking base and the rice cooking base is mounted on a machine frame which is movable in the front/rear direction toward the rice cooking position or toward the boiler take-out side. The machine frame and a long machine frame in the vertical direction at the rear edge of the machine frame are integrally formed to constitute an L-shaped (in the side view) frame 2 of the rice washing/cooking device.
