PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crawler running device in which stability during lateral digging with a backhoe is ensured. SOLUTION: Left and right crawler running units 2L, 2R in a backhoe include an elastic crawler 13 that revolves and a track frame 8 having a drive sprocket wheel and a driven sprocket wheel on front and back belt portions, and a mid- flange rolling wheel 20 between both sprocket wheels. A core 14 is embedded in the elastic crawler 13 having spaces in the longitudinal direction of the crawler. Both of the sprocket wheels are provided at the center portion widthwise of the core 14 and at the center widthwise of the elastic crawler 13. Meanwhile, left and right projections 15L, 15R forming left and right running roads which support left and right body portions 20L, 20R of the mid-flange rolling wheel 20 when the mid-flange rolling wheel 20 is eccentrically arranged to the outside of the machine body from the center widthwise of the elastic crawler 13, are protrusions formed by the core 14. The mid-flange 20A of the mid-flange rolling wheel 20 is arranged to fit between the left and right projections 15L, 15X.
