PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent light emitting diodes from breaking by static electricity generated at the time of handling a light emission display substrate. SOLUTION: In a light emission display substrate 201, resistors 31 to 34 are interposed between the first terminals 81, 82 and the anodes of blue light emitting diodes 41 and 44. Consequently, forward currents applied to the blue light emitting diodes 41 to 44 do not become excessively large and also the diodes 41 to 44 are not directly connected to the first terminals 81, 82. Moreover, protection diodes 51 to 54 are interposed between the second terminals 91 to 93 and the diodes 41 to 44. Thus, excessively large reverse biases are not impressed on the diodes 41 to 44 and also they are not directly connected to the second terminals 91 to 93.
