PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a bidirectional remote control system capable of backing up information set on a device to be controlled by the bidirectional remote controller and exchanging information between the devices to be controlled by the bidirectional remote controller. SOLUTION: Equipment information is transmitted from a device 12 to be controlled by the bidirectional remote controller 11 to the controller 11 and stored in an equipment information storage device 112 built in the controller 11. The bidirectional remote control system realizes non-volatility and portableness of equipment setting information for the device 12 and information exchange between plural devices 12 to be controlled by the controller 11 by transmitting the equipment information stored in the device 112 from the controller 11 to the device 12.
