PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the cost and the time by a method without using dies, when a variable image display body is changed to one having a different picture pattern. SOLUTION: Unit picture element 11...44 are constituted of a plurality of small picture elements 11a-11d, and 44a-44d, and the same diffraction grating is provided on the small picture element at the same location of respective unit picture elements, and for each small picture element in the same unit picture element, the diffraction grating patterns are different, and the aggregation of the small picture elements with the same diffraction grating pattern constitute one picture as a whole body for this variable image display body, and in such a variable image display body, the diffraction grating pattern which is provided on each small picture element is formed in such a manner that the diffraction grating pattern is transferred to a base material by being heated and pressurized by a thermal heat from a previously prepared a diffraction grating transfer foil. |
