PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic capable of removing harmful coloring matter, odor, fatty acid-neutralized harmful matter and the like found in basic cosmetics and cleansing cosmetics and remove stains and odor and the like deposited on the body as a result of using such cosmetics by including Bicho-tan fine powder in a basic cosmetic or cleansing cosmetic. SOLUTION: This cosmetic is obtained by formulating a basic cosmetic or cleansing cosmetic with fine powder of Bicho-tan (a kind of charcoal) having deodorizing or adsorptive effect. This cosmetic is used in the form of cream, milky lotion, or the like for a basic cosmetic, while for a cleansing cosmetic, in the form of shampoo, treatment cosmetic. The amounts of the Bicho-tan fine powder to be formulated are 0.01-50 wt.% and 1.1-50 wt.% for a basic cosmetic and a cleansing cosmetic, respectively; in particular, for a body treatment cosmetic, 0.01-50 wt.%.
