PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically return to a record process for a next page based on interrupted print job data after completing a predetermined operation while preventing record information already developed to a memory from being broken and recorded defectively incident to the execution of the predetermined operation. SOLUTION: Even during a record process based on print job data received from a host computer 8, an operation instruction of an operation panel 13 instructing a predetermined operation requirement from a user is received without obstructing the record process. Every time the record process in units of pages is finished, a CPU 2 judges an instruction state of the panel and carries out the designated predetermined operation before the record process for a next page is started.
