The inventive guide device for a cutting device of a portable drill has a base (1) which can be fixed, an axial guide bearing (6) for the cutting device (7) and a guide column (9) which can be displaced parallel to the axis of the guide bearing (6). One end of said guide column is connected to the shaft (14) of the portable drill (13) supporting the cutting device (7). The guide column (9) which has a telescope-type configuration has a slide bush (21) mounted on the base (1) and an outer tube (16) which is slideably guided on said slide bush or the elements can be arranged vice versa. Said outer tube (16) can be connected to the shaft (14) of the portable drill (13) supporting the cutting device (7). Said cutting device (7) is composed of a drill (10) and a circular cutting device (11) which produces an annular groove in the work piece when the latter is worked. The inventive device provides a means for simply and rapidly producing bores with a great diameter, especially in places that are difficult to access. |
