SYSTEM FOR OBSERVING SPECIFIC PLACE IN REAL TIME ON WEB

摘要

PURPOSE: A system for observing a specific place in real time on web is to allow a user to observe or watch a desired place by one click using a pre-photographed panorama image. CONSTITUTION: An observing system comprises: a web camera for observing a specific place with taking a photograph of the specific place; and a web server computer in which a software for processing an image transmitted from the web camera is installed. The web camera is operated using a panorama control manner in which an image compression way of MPEG(Moving picture expert group)-4 way is applicable to compensate for a time delay. The web server computer has a server program in charge of the control of a web page and a subsidiary program synchronized with the server program, for controlling the web camera.
