PURPOSE: An electronic approval method using communication network and hybrid card is provided to simplify an electronic settlement by not typing a number of a credit card or an EFT/POS(electronic funds transfer at the point of sales) and personal credit information when performing an electronic commercial transaction. CONSTITUTION: A personal terminal(100), an electronic shopping mall server(200), a card authenticating server(300), and a card settlement server(400) are interconnected through a communication network. The personal terminal(100) reads data recorded in a disk storing medium(2) of a hybrid card(1) through a disk storing medium drive(10) and performs an electronic commercial transaction and an electronic settlement through the communication network according read data. An electronic shopping mall server(200) performs an electronic commercial transaction through a communication with the personal terminal(100). The card authenticating server(200) authenticates an EFT/POS or a credit card through the communication network. The card settlement server(400) pays a transaction money to a bank account of a corresponding shopping mall.
